Hello again my friends and welcome back to the comprehensive look inside the 2015 NY Comic Con. You have safely arrived to the Day Four festivities and all the visuals that I captured with either my camera or mobile device. I’ll admit I was pretty tired at this point and got to the Javits Center around noon to let most of the crowd in before me. The Sunday session is called “Kids Day” and makes for some packed areas for sure. Its great to see the wee ones all dressed up in their superheroic finest though. I’ll chime in when I feel like it for this one so let’s begin with the downstairs “autograph area”. I just wanted to see what was brewing. You cannot easily take photos of people signing at the tables as the staff blocks your view from doing so. That has never made sense to me because as someone working the press side of things its nice to get visuals of the talent doing their thing to inspire people to attend next year.
Now it was back up to the masses and to be honest I felt that I had gotten most of what I wanted to do over the past three days so I planned on making this a big Instagram day and a clean up/follow up with those I wanted to be sure to keep in touch with.
This lovely booth representative told me her name was Megan Diana and she is also a model so do please look her up. Good luck with your work Miss.
This darling Dalmation is actually a model named Elise Laurenne and she was keeping Vera Baby company today and posing for photos with all who were interested. Vera was dressed as the sinister Cruella deVille and villainy never looked so sexy. Take a look at some of the time I spent with the ladies.
We passed by McFarlane Toys and caught mastermind Todd McFarlane doing an interview. His presence at NY Comic Con is always a highlight but since he was busy we just waived and carried on into the crowded aisles.
These next bunch of images might make you think that you are reading one of our Toy Fair pieces as opposed to NY Comic Con but you are not. As the day closed up for me I saw an opening to say hello to a contact at the Diamond Select area and got a nice overview of some of the latest offerings. Some of these things were not showcased during the February Toy Fair so I figured I would treat you to them here. Its all pretty self explanatory as to what each thing is and what license so I will just let you enjoy the images.
Okay so we are now officially down to the wire with these posts. Tomorrow I will add Chapter Two from Day Four to the mix and that is our last chapter of them all. Remember you can enjoy some different images over on the Official PiercingMetal Instagram account so hit that up when you get a moment. We’d love to keep entertaining you on these networks as well as the website. Please also do some clicking on the websites linked below to send some digital love to the folks discussed in this chapter.
