Welcome back my friends and a “Happy Fourth Of July” to all of you fellow USA residents. Be careful of the fireworks today and don’t eat too many hot dogs or hamburgers and consume too many beers (provided you are of age to even do that sort of thing). I’m continuing on with my presentation from this past weekends Heroes and Villains Fan Fest which was held at the Meadowlands Exposition Center. For those of you who have never been to this place, its a quick 15 minute ridge by bus from the Port Authority and runs under $10 for a round trip ticket. Since it brings you right to the front door you cannot go wrong. So let’s get this adventure started with a vending table that had comic books – Yay. Sadly I didn’t peruse the boxes as I’ve plenty of them already and need to sell some before bringing more into the house.
Down the lane you can see fans lined up to meet David and Sean from “Gotham”. Are you watching this Batman pre-history crime drama? It has its moments for sure but also its puzzling points.
Don’t worry these are NOT the Comic Book Men. That’s a fun show and kind of like “Pawn Stars” but for comic books.
Hey its the main man himself, Mr. Stephen Amell who is the star of the hit series “Arrow” and is also “Casey Jones” in the new “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” movie. I snapped a few images of the panel discussion he was a part of with Cody Rhodes who will be joining “Arrow” next season as an undisclosed character.
Lady Thor paused for a moment while waiting to get a signature from one of the celebrities.
It was “Shark Week” on the Discovery Channel so I got a big kick out of seeing this Deadpool. I later learned that he was supposed to be something called “Left Shark Deadpool” and I have no idea what that even means.
The lovely lady in pink is Miss Finninyan, a model and cosplayer. You can learn more about her with the links at the close of this chapter. You’re welcome.
This was definitely the best Frank Castle Punisher that I have ever seen. Nice work man.
I saw this Harley Quinn and Robin cosplay couple on the bus headed to the convention and promised that I would include them in my narrative once I saw them inside and here you go. Mr. J. is not going to be too happy with this Harley. Watch your back.
It’s always a treat to see our dear friend Abby Normal at these conventions. We first met her dressed as Harley Quinn several years ago and she was rocking this Zatanna Cosplay today.
I didn’t catch Starfire’s name but wow was she looking spacetastic today.
Captain Cold was braving the heat today and looking to put a big chill on The Flash. Watch out Barry.
This was some awesome jewelry and lots of Star Wars stuff and even rings that work with DC Universe stuff. Check them out.
I really want the Flash costume ring and the Green Lantern one below but I feel I am geeky enough. Who knows maybe I will order them online.
A great Poison Ivy cosplay and a Deadpool one (who is actually Rachel Zoe based on the business card I was handed).
Hey its Mark Texiera, one of my favorite artists.
Alright readers, you know how this works – That brings me to the end of this chapter but don’t worry there is one more coming which will close us out on the fun from the 2016 Heroes and Villains Fan Fest. Remember to click on the website links below to show some support to the vendors and some of the cosplayers that handed me cards and if you want to see some different images that were captured via the mobile for our Official Instagram you can click HERE. See you tomorrow with the last installment.
