Earache Records Signs Biters To Worldwide Deal

Here’s a quick press release that shares the great news about the signing of the Biters to our friends over at Earache Records. Take a look.

The Press Release:
Atlanta rock ‘n’ roll tearaways Biters have announced a worldwide recording deal with Earache Records.
Recalling the early spirit and danger of rabble-rousing rock heroes, Biters have faithfully built upon their punk heritage and their love of 70’s rock to deliver music that ignites, incites and excites in equal measure.

Possessing a heart full of rock ‘n’ roll, the band play foot stomping, fist pumping, spit-on-the-floor anthems possessed of a fighting spirit that refuses to give in. Band leader Tuk explains the band’s outlook: “Corporate pop culture and fairweather fads is just something I’m not interested in. I still choose to play rock ‘n’ roll, because I still believe in rock ‘n’ roll.”

Earache’s Dan Tobin comments: “Biters have lit a fire under us here at Earache. Their brand of rock forces you to take part – it’s so immediate, accessible and exciting that the label had to get involved. Most of all, its completely believable – its makes you want to fight for this kind of music to be heard. There is a gang mentality with Biters that is very strong, and we are thrilled to join forces with them.”

An aura of recklessness and intimidation surrounds the Biters mythology. Yet amongst all of the raw riffage, teethmarks and broken glass, the band serve up instant hooks and shout-a-long choruses. This ear for melody has not been lost on others – the likes of Green Day have proclaimed Biters among their favorite new bands.

‘Electric Blood’ is Biters debut album for Earache and is released on July 13. A single, ‘Restless Hearts’, will precede the album and can be heard here: https://soundcloud.com/earacherecords/biters-restless-hearts

PiercingMetal Thoughts: I caught the Biters when they opened up for Ace Frehley a couple of years ago and I will not lie to you when I say they are one of the best up and coming bands that I have caught in a long time. They had such a solid delivery and a definite authentic Hard Rock Groove that I feel a lot of people will key into. I was glad to have caught them because I often find too many people bypassing an opener and missing something special. Sure we all have things to do before shows, but it doesn’t take but a few minutes to open up YouTube or Spotify to hear what a band that is on the bill might sound like. I think the results would surprise you. So if you’ve seen the band before and want to share what you think about this new signing please chime in down below. I’ll be looking to add a quick review of the “Restless Hearts” single to the website as soon as its possible to get one done. See you next time.
