Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein Unveils Continuing “Abominator” Tour Dates For 2015

A few days ago a new press release hit the Metal Media Newsstands of The Sonic Republic outlining the continuation of Doyle’s “Abominator Tour”. The gigs will be split into two parts with both The Family Ruin and Hatchet supporting one group of shows and Calabrese and Hatchet performing the rest of them. I’ve copied the press release and images below for your indulgence and then we can discuss this Midnight Monster Music happening a little more.

DOYLE’s latest album Abominator was released via Monsterman Records (in partnership with Brain Muscle Media), via INgrooves, the leading global independent music distributor. Abominator, which has been hailed by critics as “perhaps the best Misfits-related record in over a decade”, features stories of murder, disembowelment and necrophilia. DOYLE continues to take the horror metal genre to new levels with their combination of epic guitar playing and memorable melodies. Buy Abominator via Amazon below.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: I’ll quietly share with you all that I’m guilty of not getting myself a copy of “Abominator” yet or seeing the former Misfits main monster man in action with this new project of his but I hope to resolve that sooner rather than later. Please don’t tell on me because as you can see Doyle is a really big guy and I don’t need my media adventures to play out like one of the old Bugs Bunny cartoons with me trying to thwart my demise at every turn. I’m hoping that some additional dates get added because the timing of the closest regional gigs to me are not doable but wow what a bunch of lucky ducks you folks in Texas are as almost two weeks of dates are being dished out to the Horror Metal masses of those parts. The support act of Hatchet is the only group that I am aware of on the run of dates and I suggest that attendees catch them as well because its rock solid Thrash Metal the way it’s supposed to be. Perhaps some of you can educate me on both The Family Ruin and Calabrese when you get a moment and if not there is always Spotify. What do you all think about this tour? Is it something you will see or have interest in? Let me know in the comments section below as I always love hearing from you. I guess after this we can count on Doyle appearing with Danzig again during the “Blackest Of The Black” shows that were announced a few weeks ago. See you next time.
