PiercingMetal Thoughts: “This extra-sized issue includes a sneak peek at what’s coming up in the DC Universe!” I’ve repeated that statement because its gotten me curious and wondering are they bailing on The New 52 concept after this is all said and done? I’ll admit that I was only crazy about half of what was going on in those titles and there have been over 100 at this point since many of the original titles had gone away and were replaced by other new titles. Many of those have also gone away and it makes me wonder what necessitated such a change anyway. The idea of securing new readers of a younger vintage seems odd to me because these books are about $4 a copy and I generally only see my age group in the stores perusing the offerings. Anyway, I have not yet read my group of the second issues as they are just coming out today and I have yet to go to the comic store for them. Once I see what the bonus pages entail I will speak to that. Overall I have enjoyed seeing a lot of these characters returning to action. What do you readers think about it all? Have you been buying them or are you waiting on the next big thing? Let me know in the comics section as I’ve always
