DC Comics First Issues Coming In October 2015

Hey readers of the comic book page, based on the stuff coming up straight away in my schedule I have to get two of our comic book solicitations to you today as opposed to doing them every couple of days. In case you’re wondering why, well its because the NY Comic Con for 2015 is right around the corner and I have to get all my ducks in a row since I attend every single day of the convention. There aren’t a lot in terms of first issues this month from DC Comics but check them out.

BATMAN AND ROBIN ETERNAL #1: It’s here at last—the sequel to the blockbuster weekly series BATMAN ETERNAL! At the time, Dick Grayson never quite understood the scope of that case, but now its darkest secrets are coming back to haunt him and everyone else who ever worked with Batman! With Bruce Wayne now lost to them, Dick and all his allies are out in the cold! Who can they trust? Is someone among them not who they say they are? And who is the deadly, silent young woman in black who’s come to Gotham City looking for Batman? Prepare yourself for six months of international intrigue, twists and turns, and new additions to the world of Batman and Robin, from showrunners James Tynion IV and Scott Snyder, and writers Tim Seeley, Steve Orlando, Genevieve Valentine, Ed Brisson, and Jackson Lanzing & Collin Kelly!

Now, he commands the combined might of Highfather, Mantis and other New Gods. But these Gods are not passive. And they will sooner destroy Billy than give up control of their power.

Written by Steve Orlando; Art by Scott Kolins

PiercingMetal Thoughts: I guess the title that piques my interest the most right off the bat comes care of “Batman and Robin Eternal” since it sounds interesting. Considering its going to keep my finances busy a few times a month it better be. I’m also thinking about picking up the “Telos” and “Titans Hunt” titles to see what they are all about. I am not too sure about the “Justice League Gods and Monsters” issues though because with them all being single issue one-shots, there is a very good chance it’s all collected together very soon. What do you readers think about this month’s offerings? Anything making your wallet move to your hand for easier access? Let me know in the comments section below.
