When PiercingMetal was wandering the halls of Javits for the annual Toy Fair convention, we didn’t see a single toy from the at the time upcoming film “Avengers: Endgame” but now that the film has opened to a limited audience in California (it opens for the rest of us tomorrow so shhhhhhh if you are one of the lucky people who has seen it), the folks at DST are revealing their latest line of the popular Minimates. Let’s take a look at the Official Press and some images.
The Press Release:
Avengers Assemble! The Endgame is upon us, and everyone is on the edge of their seat! We may not know what’s going to happen, but one thing’s for sure, when we come out of the movie we’re going to want some cool collectibles of our favorite characters! Luckily, new Avengers Endgame Minimates have just assembled in Walgreens stores and comic shops nationwide!
When I was but a wee lad, I was a card carrying member of “The Batman Club” and while my official membership card seems to be gone to the sands of time, I still have a great fondness for all things Caped Crusader which makes me happy to share the latest news from the fine folks over at Eaglemoss Collections. Take a look down below and prepare to be excited.
The Press Release:
Ever since his modern cinematic debut in 1989’s Batman, the Caped Crusader’s one constant companion has been – no, not Robin™ the Boy Wonder – his iconic Batmobile!™ Part assault vehicle, part pursuit and rescue transport, part mobile crime lab and part the screen’s coolest looking car, the Batmobile has always been the most technologically advanced crime-fighting asset in Batman’s arsenal.
Like the Dark Knight™ himself, everybody has a favorite Batmobile and now all of the cars, from Tim Burton’s 1989 classic to the conclusion of Christopher Nolan’s trilogy in 2012, have been brought together in one comprehensive, fully illustrated, 72-page volume from Eaglemoss Hero Collector, designers, manufacturers and publishers of high-quality collectibles from across the many worlds of pop culture.
Written by Alan Cowsill, James Hill and Richard Jackson – with original illustrations contributed by Ed Giddings and Mojo – Batmobile Cutaways: The Movie Vehicles 1989-2012 is a one-of-a-kind visual reference guide featuring original cutaway artwork approved by Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment, as well as lavish illustrations and photos highlighting every vehicle from Batman (1989), Batman Returns (1992), Batman Forever (1995), Batman & Robin (1997), Batman Begins (2005), The Dark Knight (2008) and The Dark Knight Rises (2012). We’re under a month away from the release of the long-anticipated Marvel Studio film “Avengers: Endgame” and its without question that I’ve been chomping at the bit about it here on PiercingMetal when ever any new clip or visual presents itself. For those just joining the website and its offerings, the stuff that’s come before about the film can be examined HERE. Clicking the text will launch a new tab with any reference to “Avengers: Endgame” that is currently online. Today, the fine folks at Hasbro revealed a wealth of images of the action figures that will be coming out for this film. I broke them up into sections in this post for you to peruse. Let’s begin.
I’ll start off with the Marvel Legends Series “Build-A-Figure” Collection which allows the collector to assemble a large scale Thanos based on parts of this action figure being in the packages of all the others in the series. Considering we have the packages visual I will not be typing all their names. You should also know most of them by now if you are a proper Pop Culturist like we are 🙂
The Toy Fair for 2019 begins tomorrow and as result of this massive happening for the Toy and Gaming Industry, the reveals from some of our favorite companies keep on coming. Here’s one of the latest updates from the folks over at Hasbro and without exaggeration, its super awesome. Take a look.
