Good early morning to you my ready to binge-watch readers, if you are reading this post in the predawn hours then you are much more of a Marvel Television diehard than I am. I’ve been falling asleep before midnight lately but I digress because its from all the running around I’ve been doing. So here we are with the final season on Netflix for Marvel’s “Jessica Jones”. As you know, the streaming service cancelled all of the exciting series that it launched a few years ago with “Daredevil”, “Luke Cage”, Iron Fist”, “The Defenders” and “The Punisher”. I fell behind in my watching but did love them all with some being better than the others and if you missed the recently revealed trailer for this final season please click HERE. Let’s review the Official Poster, premise and casting once more before we go.
Truth be told when I learned that a prequel show to Superman history was being done I was rather skeptical. That being said I still programmed the DVR and really enjoyed the take that was being offered up on the Man Of Steel’s prehistory. If you missed the second season trailer that I ran please click HERE to be on point as the new adventures begin tonight on SyFy and you’re going to want to be up to speed.
As the more tenured readers are aware, PiercingMetal has been going to the American International Toy Fair for just about ten years now and one of the favorite companies visited over the last few of them have been the folks over at Super7. Initially they impressed me with small scale action figures known as “ReAction” Figures for properties like “Masters Of The Universe” and other Science Fiction but since they are also Metalheads, they offered up these same figure styles for both Iron Maiden and Slayer. Yesterday, the company did their official reveal to the masses for two more awesome figures which you can see down below. The copy and images come from their Official Facebook. Read on.
“Devilock!” Arriving next Wednesday (6/19) is the official Super7 x Jerry Only 3.75″ ReAction Figure. Jerry comes armed with his Devastator bass and wearing his terrifying spiked Fiend vest! This is not a limited edition release but set your alarms and alerts for next week. #misfits #jerryonly #reactionfigures #super7
The E3 Convention/Expo is underway and I have a number of colleagues in attendance doing reporting for their respective mediums. Their being there led me to follow some of the activity for our Pop Culture focuses since video games are often based on the Toys, Comics and Film items that are discussed on that section of the PiercingMetal.com website. When I saw the trailer for the upcoming 2020 release of “Marvel’s Avengers” by the folks at Square Enix, I knew that I had to share it with the readership. Take a look down below.
About The Game: Marvel’s Avengers begins at A-Day, where Captain America, Iron Man, the Hulk, Black Widow, and Thor are unveiling a hi-tech Avengers Headquarters in San Francisco — including the reveal of their own helicarrier powered by an experimental energy source. The celebration turns deadly when a catastrophic accident results in massive devastation. Blamed for the tragedy, the Avengers disband. Five years later, with all Super Heroes outlawed and the world in peril, the only hope is to reassemble Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. Marvel Entertainment and Square Enix are excited to unveil Marvel’s Avengers, an epic action-adventure game that combines cinematic storytelling with single-player and co-operative gameplay. Developed by Crystal Dynamics in collaboration with Eidos-Montréal, Nixxes Software, and Crystal Northwest, Marvel’s Avengers will release simultaneously for the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, the Xbox One family of devices including Xbox One X, Stadia, and PC on May 15, 2020. Rob Zombie is not only a constant force of nature when it comes to live music entertainment but he is also a prolific filmmaker and has delivered a bunch of spooktacular films that keep the audience on the edge of their seats. He’s shown us inside the “House Of 1000 Corpses” and introduced us to “The Devil’s Rejects” and now its time to meet the “3 From Hell”. The first glimpse of this in a teaser trailer was recently revealed so let’s keep our Pop Culture focuses growing by letting you have a look. I’m also adding in some promotional artwork at the bottom.
About The Film: 3 from Hell is an upcoming American horror film written and directed by Rob Zombie. It is a follow-up to his 2003 film House of 1000 Corpses and its 2005 sequel The Devil’s Rejects. The plot of the film is currently unknown, but it is confirmed that it will be centered around the three main antagonists of the previous films. The film has been rated R for “Strong sadistic violence, language throughout, sexual content, graphic nudity, and drug use”.
