It wasn’t too long ago that we shared the first information about a soon to come third installment in “The Walking Dead” franchise. Back then the series had no official name and it seemed to be focused on the younger generation. With the Official Comic Book “The Walking Dead” endeding (discussed HERE), the time has come to reveal the shows title, and a teaser clip. Behold “The Walking Dead: World Beyond”.
Synopsis: The series, set ten years after the apocalypse, will feature two young female protagonists and focus on “the first generation to come-of-age in the apocalypse as we know it. Some will become heroes. Some will become villains. In the end, all of them will be changed forever. Grown-up and cemented in their identities, both good and bad.” Continue reading AMC Presents: “The Walking Dead: World Beyond” Teaser Trailer→
The countdown continues to the release of the closing of “The Skywalker Saga” with “Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker” opening on 12/20. As I’ve already noted, a film of this level finds a lot of clips and insights and TV Spots. That being said, our readers can examine THIS LINK to be on point with every item that’s gone online so far on PiercingMetal. This latest reveal is a “Special Look” clip so it gets a posting of its own. I’ll follow the footage with the premise, casting and the Official Theatrical Poster. Enjoy.
By now you are either a subscriber to Disney+ or wishing you were because “The Mandalorian” series is going over like gangbusters and that makes sharing this latest reveal from the fine folks at Hasbro all the more awesome. The 6 inch action figure will become a part of their “Star Wars: The Black Series” of highly poseable figures and you are surely going to want to add it to your collection. This appears to be available for pre-order at Best Buy via THIS LINK, and I’ve also added a code to order a different version of this character on Amazon.com since that helps us keep the lights on. Images are provided by their media team so enjoy.
The Press Release:
Whether it’s hunting Skrulls or taking down H.Y.D.R.A., Spider-Woman’s adventures have made her a favorite of readers for decades, and in March 2020, she’ll be embarking on a brand-new one in SPIDER-WOMAN #1! The enigmatic Avenger has always been as mysterious as she is fearless, and her latest series opens with her not feeling quite herself… Looking for fresh thrills, Spider-Woman takes on a job that puts her in the crosshairs of an all-new enemy! She soon finds herself caught in a web of intrigue, surrounded by unknown forces bent on her destruction. With danger on all sides and her deadly past coming to haunt her, Spider-Woman is in for an action-packed ride, and she wouldn’t have it any other way!
This high-stakes mission comes courtesy of all-star creative team Karla Pacheco (PUNISHER ANNUAL, FANTASTIC FOUR 2099) and Pere Perez (UNCANNY X-MEN). “I love Spider-Woman, and I’m incredibly excited to share this series with both new and old Jessica Drew fans alike. This is big, can’t miss, over-the-top action, some very surprising ‘venom blasts from the pasts,’ and also a TON of helicopter explosions,” Pacheco says. “It’s a super fun adventure with a lot of twists and turns…and seriously, so many helicopter explosions. We’re taking Jess bigger and badder than she’s ever been before, and I can’t wait for readers to see what we’ve cooked up.”
What’s wrong with Jessica? Just how DID she get this job? And who are these violent lunatics who keep trying to blow her up? You’ll have to wait and see, but in the meantime, check out the stunning cover by Junggeun Yoon, showing Jessica doing what she does best in her iconic costume! Strap in because SPIDER-WOMAN #1 is on sale this March in comic shops, on the Marvel Comics App, and on Marvel.com! PiercingMetal Thoughts: I’ve been a fan since Spider-Woman first appeared in the pages of “Marvel Premiere” which was one of my very favorite titles back in the day. She soon received her own series and I was a regular buyer of that before losing track or perhaps it finished its initial run – its been so long a time since that series that I don’t really remember. Though I haven’t followed her adventures all that recently, I do recall some issues where she was doing her thing while pregnant and that an artist did a super sexy cover that caused quite a stir among the masses and its always a pleasure to see cosplayers at the assorted conventions dressed as her. I am hopeful for this new series and will most likely be picking it up when it hits the racks this Spring. What say you? Chime in down below in the comments section.
We are now just a month away from the closing chapter of the original “Star Wars” saga as “Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker” is set to open on 12/20. With a film of this magnitude the media initiatives for it will be hardcore and keeping websites that have a strong Pop Culture sense very busy. Having touched upon a few items already, I suggest that those only now visiting us to check out THIS LINK to be on point with every item that’s gone online so far. As expected, in addition to full on trailers there are the much shorter “TV Spots” and as I did with “Avengers: Endgame”, as they get released to the public, I will be adding them into this single post. The adventure into that galaxy far, far away continues down below the Official Theatrical Poster and premise below. I’ve even listed the main casting after the most recent TV Spot.
