First Official Look At Ryan Reynolds as “Deadpool”

The Official Facebook Page for the “Deadpool Movie” posted the first official look at actor Ryan Reynolds in the costume and I just had to share it with you readers as soon as I had a moment to do so. Check it out.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: Okay so this looks rather fantastic to me but I still cannot shake that performance as “Green Lantern” from a few years from my mind that Reynolds did. Maybe it was just a terrible film and not as much his fault. One has to hope that Reynolds will be able to not only handle this Wade Wilson, Merc With A Mouth character a lot better than Hal Jordan but also that the film itself is stronger in terms of plot, action and other characters that are involved. This will continue along in the live action “X-Men” universe that Fox has been delivering for the last few years. Remember this is NOT under Marvel Studios direction at all. I’ll remain hopeful and can honestly say that I am looking forward to this one a lot more than the also coming soon “Fantastic Four” reboot. The photo is a sort of an homage and parody of a Cosmopolitan Magazine photo of actor Burt Reynolds who posed nude on a bearskin rug more than four decades ago (yes that really happened). What do you readers think about this? Let’s discuss in the comments section below as all topical views shall be approved. Are you a fan of the character at all?

Airing Tonight: “iZombie” on The CW (3/17/2015)

Television shows have been really picking up steam over the last year as only months ago we added “The Flash” and “Contstantine” to the mix for DC Comics small screen world and now their Vertigo title “iZombie” is getting its turn. Check out the poster and the premise which I copied from the official Wikipedia entry and then we can discuss it a little bit.

Poster - iZombie - 2015

Premise: Olivia “Liv” Moore was a rosy-cheeked, disciplined, over-achieving medical resident who had her life path completely mapped out, until the night she attended a party that unexpectedly turned into a zombie feeding frenzy. Afterward, she became part zombie. She works at a coroner’s office to give her access to the brains she must eat to survive. A side effect of her new diet is the ability to absorb the memories of the deceased, which helps her solve homicides. (thanks Wiki)

Check Out The “Avengers: Age Of Ultron” Character Posters

As we draw closer to the release of the second film featuring The Mighty Avengers with “Avengers: Age Of Ultron”, a whole bunch of character posters have been released. I think that they were parsed out initially but since I recently discovered these “10” I figured that just a single post works fine for me. Check them out below the logo and reminder of the films overall premise.

Premise: In Avengers: Age of Ultron, the Avengers must work together to defeat Ultron, a technological enemy bent on human extinction.

Sometime later in the 2015 year, CBS will toss its hat into the ring and give us a superhero television show that will bring us the live action adventures of “Supergirl”. The biological cousin to the Man Of Steel will be played by Melissa Benoist. Yesterday the costume to be worn by the actress was revealed and I am sharing it with you all right now.

Presenting: “Avengers: Age Of Ultron” Trailer #3

Logo - Avengers Age Of Ultron

I’m not generally into the practice of putting up trailer after trailer for any of these films that I have been broadcasting about but I just had to share the third released trailer for Marvel Studios “Avengers: Age Of Ultron” and you will see why after watching. Check it out below.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: I’m going to hold my excitement back for a second and stress that this is the last trailer I am posting or even watching. One thing I am starting to hate about the revealed trailers is that too much action is showcased and I already know going in that this is going to be an exciting film. You studios do not need to oversell the geek market. We are going to go and we are going to do this repeatedly. Trust me on this one. So in this trailer we see just how much of a thorn in the side to the Avengers that Ultron is going to be and I am very curious as to how both the Witch and Quicksilver are following him around. There is a lot of combative interaction with our heroes so I speculate some enchantments that bring that up and when it all closes up we get The Vision. The VISION!!!! You don’t know how awesome that is to see happening for me as a longtime fan of The Avengers comics mythology. He is such a great character and I think this will up the ante to our heroes favor after some incredible pitfalls. May 1st cannot come fast enough.
