Satan Is Coming For North America In 2014

Now this should be interesting, it appears as though the legendary underground Metal band Satan will be embarking on their first-ever North American Tour thanks to the folks at BBQ Booking. The press release follows the super dramatic poster.

Tour - Satan - 2014

Satan is one of those bands that escaped my attention during their original heyday and with so many lineup and name changes going back and forth from either Blind Fury or Pariah and putting out albums under those monikers its easy to see how this could happen. Despite this musical faux pas, I have been enjoying the Hell (sorry I had to) out of their “Life Sentence” album on Listenable Records and am going to try my damnedest (man this is easy) to be a part of the show that will be taking place in Brooklyn. This is the same night as Carcass for the NYC Metal Scene but I think I can work out both events and bring you kind readers the full story and photographs if at all possible. You can learn more about the band via their official Wikipedia entry which is linked below.

Official Wiki Entry:

Historically speaking there are only three albums out by the band under the name Satan and the original first album is VERY hard to find for a reasonable price and this seems true of the second release. Perhaps someone will be wise enough to remaster and re-issue these if we demand that it be the case enough.

Presenting: The Vans Warped Tour For 2014

Now while I realize that this was announced a little over a month ago, I wanted to wait until more of the performing bands and dates of performance were available and now with this being the case, please allow me to present the Vans Warped Tour for 2014; Are you excited? You sure are……

2014 marks the 20th Anniversary of this particular festival and its been entertaining the masses for every one of those years and to some gets better and better with each go round. It sure does offer up a lot of diverse bands and while I do recognize a number of the ones playing this year, they are outnumbered by the ones that I still have no background in. It happens with an event like this where bands are coming out of the woodwork. I love it though as it just reaffirms my belief in the fact that there are many talented people out there looking to keep you smiling.

So Who’s Playing?: A Lot Like Birds, A Skylit Drive, Air Dubai, Anberlin, Attila, Bad Rabbits, Beartooth, Beebs and Her Money Makers, Born Of Osiris, Breathe Carolina, Chelsea Grin, Chunk! No, Captain Chunk!, Courage My Love, Crown The Empire, Cute Is What We Aim For, Echosmith, Enter Shikari, Falling In Reverse, For Today, I Fight Dragons, I The Mighty, Issues, Less Than Jake, Mayday Parade, MC Chris, Mixtapes, Motionless In White, Nit Grit, Plague Vendor, Real Friends, Saves THe Day, Secrets, State Champs, Stray From The Path, Survive This!, Tear Out The Heart, Teenage Bottlerocket, Terror, The Color Morale, The Devil Wears Prada, The Ghost Inside, The Maine, The Protomen, The Ready Set, The Story So Far, The Word Alive, This Wild Life, To The Wind, Volumes, We Are The In Crowd, and Yellowcard.

That sure is a lot of music to enjoy and while I don’t think that I will personally be in attendance this year I wanted to make sure that fans had the means to purchase tickets for the show that is hitting their region. You can click the ticket image below and that should pull up the query for the tour on your screen. The full run of dates available are listed further down this post.

Black Label Society To Headline Revolver Golden Gods Tour 2014

My apologies for getting this information to you fine readers several hours after it first broke, but I was tuned in to the Motley Crue Press Conference about their upcoming and FINAL tour for 2014 at the time (and that was blogged about HERE); The other big news of the day was that Zakk Wylde (The Berzerker to all his friends) would be headlining the Revolver Golden Gods Tour for 2014 with Black Label Society. Check out more after the poster…..

Motley Crue Announces “The Final Tour” for 2014

Just over two weeks ago this rather cryptic and dramatic graphic arrived in my email here at the PiercingMetal Command HQ regarding the band Motley Crue from their record label and while I could have posted something about it for you fine readers at that immediate time, I decided to wait until the date that the official scoop was at hand to do it so it had more meat and potatoes and got right to the point of what we all wanted to learn……
