Carnifex Announces 10th Anniversary “Decade Of Despair” Tour For 2015

Every now and again you’ll find me broadcasting the touring news for bands that we haven’t always managed to follow for one reason or another. That’s not a slight but just a prime example of just how many crushing acts are out there each and every night bringing the exciting Metal to their fans. Now with that out of my conscience let me congratulate Carnifex on their 10th anniversary. They have a new tour coming up and below you will find the poster and press release along with the dates. Here goes.

Tour - Carnifex - 2015

The Press Release:
CA based death metal outfit CARNIFEX, will celebrate their 10 year anniversary this fall with a North American headlining tour! The massive six-week trek will launch on October 7th in Los Angeles and come to a rousing climax on November 11th in the band’s hometown of San Diego.

“The reality that CARNIFEX has been a band for ten years is still something I can’t quite grasp,” comments vocalist Scott Lewis. “I’ve felt we’ve always been outsiders from the start, even in the metal world. But what separates CARNIFEX from everyone else is all of you have joined us on the outside, keeping each other alive and stronger than ever.

“This tour is our way of directly connecting with our fans, giving you the biggest headlining tour we’ve ever put together and personally saying thank you to each and every one of you for your die hard support. We look forward to seeing all of you and sharing this once in a lifetime experience.”

PiercingMetal Thoughts: So while I’ve already admitted to not following them outside of those couple of times in concert I can say that they do deliver on the stage. If Dethcore Metal is your thing and you have not heard of Carnifex then there is no time like the present to get with the program and help them along in the celebration of ten years at the craft. With something like 36 dates in a row with only a couple of breaks for oxygen, their fans are going to be right up close and personal with the band if many of these rooms are like our own NYC regions The Studio. Those who are with the program and better fans can let me know what they think of this tour in the comments section below. See you next time.
