I guess it was just over a month and a half ago that we got our first small glimpse into the Science Fiction/Action epic “The Predator” coming from 20th Century Fox and while it was alright in terms of what we saw, the longer Official Trailer gives us the full alien monty (so to speak). Let’s take a look.

The Premise:
A young boy accidentally triggers an alert that brings the Predators to back to Earth. The universe’s most lethal hunters have genetically upgraded themselves with DNA from other alien species and only a crew of former soldiers along with a disgruntled science teacher can stop the hunters before everybody becomes their prey.

The Cast:
Boyd Holbrook as Quinn McKenna
Trevante Rhodes as Nebraska Williams
Jacob Tremblay as Rory McKenna
Keegan-Michael Key as Coyle
Olivia Munn as Casey Bracket
Sterling K. Brown as Will Traeger
Thomas Jane as Baxley
Alfie Allen as Lynch
Augusto Aguilera as Nettles
Yvonne Strahovski as Emily McKenna
Jake Busey as the son of Peter Keyes
Edward James Olmos as a military general
Niall Matter as Sapir

PiercingMetal Thoughts: Though I don’t know just yet if I will end up seeing this early during the theatrical run, I have to say that it does look like they upgraded the carnage and as you can see, the Predator himself or itself to be politically correct in these gender sensitive times. If you are a fan of explosions, bullets flying everywhere and monsters tearing humans and each other to pieces then we have a winner for you. I must admit that I was surprised to find some of the course language in the trailer and I am assuming that this film will be rated “R” when it comes out. What do you readers think about the trailer? Are you ready to hunt with these menacing aliens? Chime in down below.
