Win A Ticket To See Buckcherry @ Gramercy Theatre On 5/13/2014

Layout 1

The Details: If you watch Eddie Trunk on “That Metal Show” you are likely already very well aware of the band Buckcherry who he’s cited as being a band that fans should follow should they like stuff like Aerosmith and Guns N Roses. The sound they deliver is pure and solid Rock and Roll and while I’ve only caught them a couple of times myself, I am always impressed in the level of adoration that their fans offer up to them. They are a great live act thanks to the ball of energy singer they have in Josh Todd and that makes it cool to be offering up this giveaway to our readership thanks to the fine folks at Livenation. The show will also feature Fozzy (Chris Jericho’s band) and you should know that this has been moved from Irving Plaza over to The Gramercy Theatre.

When and Where: Tuesday, May 13th @ Gramercy Theatre (127 East 23rd Street, NYC)

To Participate: I’m sure this is going to be a rocking night from beginning to end and I’m very glad to find The Gramercy offering up shows again for the Metal and Rock Legions of our Music Metropolis. That said I will make this an easy one. Just tell me three things that you like most about Buckcherry and please do make them good ones. Saying because “Josh is sexy” or “Josh is cool” is not going to convince me. Extra credit if you feel like adding stuff in about your appreciation of Fozzy as well. Please enter only once (as no edits will be honored) and put your full real name and a working email address in the comment form (but not in your comment for privacy reasons) to be sure you can be reached if necessary with show details. I will be replying to the winning comments directly and letting them know if they won. Guest and Anonymous submissions will not count and this contest will end when the supplies run out. Bring it on.

Restrictions: While all PiercingMetal.com contests are open to our regional site readers, Twitter Followers and Facebook Page Likers you should know that we tend to look at new responders first in order to give everyone a fair shot at enjoying a show on the provider and us. Of course we still encourage all to respond because you never know just how many tickets we are offering and when that last person might have won in comparison to you. I will say that the biggest restriction on this one is that if you have won anything over the last month that your chances are less because we surely cannot have the same people winning again and again.

There are a LOT of albums by Buckcherry to indulge in so I have taken the time to offer them up to you as purchase links on Amazon.com – I even added some for Fozzy to help their sales cause along.

    1. Buckcherry is a throwback band – simple, easy to sing along to lyrics with great riffs. They just make fun songs.

    2. They’re very underrated musically, with Keith Nelson and Stevie D. providing great dueling guitars.

    3. Huge Fozzy fan also, have seen them 4 times live, and Jericho gets better and becomes a more professional frontman every time I see them. It’s obvious that he’s putting in the time and music is no longer just a hobby for him.

    3. I wanted to buy my girlfriend a Buckcherry tour shirt when we saw them in New. Jersey but I waited till after the show and the merch table closed before I got the chance. I’d like to redeem myself and get one at this show.

    1. Buckcherry is one of my favorite bands and I can’t afford to buy tickets so winning them would be fantastic and I would be forever grateful.
    2. Not only is Buckcherry’s music great to rock out to, but they also have a great beat that works really well on workout playlists. I play them all of the time in my Spinning and Total Body classes.
    3. I’ve always respected musicians who do things for charity and good causes. They once played a free show as a benefit for Aidan’s got a posse to raise money for ALD. I have a friend who’s child suffers from a similar adrenal condition so raising money for causes like that are near to my heart.
