Writer: Jody Houser, Rafer Roberts; Penciler: Robert Gill; Cover Artist: Travel Foreman, Meghan Hetrick, Ryan Lee

PiercingMetal Thoughts: Collection wise, I’m probably going to be opting for the Shadowman title out of these three but of course examining the eventual collected edition for the others. There have been too many DC and Marvel titles on my collecting plate to miss and that has waylaid a lot of my additional comic book funding. No offense but that is the stuff I have been reading the longest but we still support what we can over here at the creative command HQ. What do you readers think about these new titles? Have you been keeping up with any of the storylines so far? Let me know what you think down in those comments below. See you next time.

  1. Don’t start with the shadow man title, it’s a one shot that’s tied into a summer wide company event called 4001 ad, the characters are taken way out of their normal context. This run on bloodshot has been fantastic, even if you’re not up to speed with the character’s and who they are, the visuals and atmosphere get you sucked in very quickly.

    1. Yeah Max thanks. As far as the Valiant stuff goes, I am mostly perusing the trade collections at the comic shop and buying so few of them. I miss their legacy years the most (Solar Man Of The Atom, Magnus Robot Fighter, Turok Son Of Stone etc.). More of a DC and Marvel Comics mainstay nowadays.
