Brooklyn Natives “Twilight Odyssey” have certainly been keeping themselves a busy group. Their self-titled demo is a solid piece of metal that fans of old school Priest and Maiden can easily enjoy. This three-songed rocker has some catchy riffs, consistent drumming and powerful vocals. The interesting thing about the group is the fact that the singer is female. Not so surprising these days in metal, however the aspect that P.J. and company choose to maintain the “traditional” level of Heavy Metal rather than focusing on the more operatic styling that has been present for a couple of years. The band is made up of Ben Asaro on Guitar, Genady Khirich (Bass), Sal Pellerito (Drums) and P.J. Berlinghof on Vocals.

On reading their web page you will find that the group is ever busy to bring metal to the general public. They have held onto the idea of playing often and wherever they can book the show. This allows you to keep them in mind rather than simply getting lost amid the others. At the time of this writing the band was currently in negotiations with an independent record company that will be issuing their premiere release soon. Until then grab this 3 song piece while you can.
