Tour - Valient Thorr - 15 Years On Earth 2016

The Press Release:
VALIENT THORR are the baddest band on the planet (from another planet). They have been rocking their adopted home of Earth since arriving here from Venus over fifteen years ago. With six albums under their belt Napalm Records will release their seventh album later this year! This MC5/James Brown inspired quintuplet have stood the test of time morphing in and out of what Motorhead frontman Lemmy Kilmister calls simply- Rock N’Roll.

In support of the new album VALIENT THORR will be hitting the road in North American on the “15 Years on Earth Tour”. Joining them on the road will be Pears, Black Wizard and label-mates Hammer Fight. The tour kicks off May 25th in Asheville, NC and runs through July 13th in Baltimore, MD.

“Total Universe Man” by Valient Thorr

Artist: Valient Thorr
Title: “Total Universe Man”
Label: Volcom Entertainment
Release Date: June 7, 2005
Genre: Metal/Punk
Rating: 3/5

Well, whatever the case may be, I’m going to not only give these guys a slightly-better-than-passing grade, I also recommend them to any who like the “what the fuck?” aspect of the band’s singular presentation. Is this a joke? Let’s just say that humor is in the eye of the beholder, and if truth be told I must admit to a fondness for these crazy bastards, and Himself’s vocal kind of remind me of a parody of Suicidal Tendencies’ Mike Muir and the already-parodic Billy Milano, and how often do you run into that?
