Back in 2016, the world of Geekdom saw the return of Agents Mulder and Scully in “The X-Files” Season 10. There were only six episodes to the season and they left us with a bit of a cliffhanger. Now, the time has come to reveal the trailer for the 2018 returning show for its eleventh season. Check out the trailer that was unveiled at this years NY Comic Con. I’ll follow it with some light premise and cast before closing it up with editorial.

I didn’t rush to share this one with the readership because the only release information that was unveiled was “the Fall” so I felt I could address other posts and get around to this when I could. So here we are with another CW Seed web episode offering and this one is called “Freedom Fighters: The Ray”. Much like the previous superhero webisodes around “Vixen”, “FFTR” takes place as a part of the Arrowverse in some sense. Check out the trailer below and then enjoy some of the revealed voice casting.

The bomb goes off, and instead of killing him, gives him light-based powers, and he is recruited to join the Freedom Fighters.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: This looks like it MIGHT be interesting but I am not too sure of how invested I can get in another show because I am already risking running low on DVR space based on The CW Network’s bevy of shows that I’m recording. I love Science Fiction of course but not sure if I really need a half comedy and half dramatic presentation of such a thing. What did you readers think of the trailer? Did it make you curious enough to program your DVR to binge a few episodes? Let me know down in the comments section below.
