PiercingMetal Thoughts: Sorry readers I don’t have much to add as its been super busy over here preparing for the holidays and keeping the posts flowing. I was already intrigued by the films first two trailers and am starting to fear that with a third that they now show too much and perhaps are concerned about the potential reception. Slow down gang, let the geeks weigh in and I am sure it will be fine. Chime in down below if you like. I don’t mind that at all. Until next time.

Universal Pictures “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom” Official Trailer

We really enjoyed “Jurassic World” when we saw it a couple of years ago and as expected a sequel was definitely going to happen. Just a short while ago the folks at Universal Pictures released the first trailer from the film which will be called “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom”. Check it out below. I’ve also included the premise and the casting that has been revealed so far.

The Plot: A volcanic eruption threatens the remaining dinosaurs on the island of Isla Nublar, where the creatures have freely roamed for several years after the demise of an animal theme park known as Jurassic World. Claire Dearing, the former park manager, has now founded the Dinosaur Protection Group, an organization dedicated to protecting the dinosaurs. To help with her cause, Claire has recruited Owen Grady, a former dinosaur trainer who worked at the park, to prevent the extinction of the dinosaurs…again. (thanks Wiki).

The Cast/Characters:
Chris Pratt as Owen Grady
Bryce Dallas Howard as Claire Dearing
B. D. Wong as Dr. Henry Wu
James Cromwell as Benjamin Lockwood
Ted Levine
Justice Smith as a member of the Dinosaur Protection Group
Geraldine Chaplin
Daniella Pineda as a member of the Dinosaur Protection Group
Toby Jones
Rafe Spall as Eli Mills
Jeff Goldblum as Dr. Ian Malcolm
Isabella Sermon
Kevin Layne as a submarine pilot

PiercingMetal Thoughts: I generally like to hold back my thoughts on the first trailer but this one does look action packed and actually also a little sad since we are watching these remaining dinosaurs face their ultimate end. We have until the summer of 2018 to see it in the theaters and I can see myself hitting this one early on in the theatrical run. What do you readers think of this first trailer? Are you a fan of the franchise at all? Let me know down in the comments section below.

Lionsgate Presents: “Day Of The Dead: Bloodline” Official Red Band Trailer #1

I’m just learning about this one and its a continuation of sorts of what we found in the “Day Of The Dead” film by George Romero. Though its cited as being remade from the one in 2008, it didn’t look like that premise at all to me but of course its been a while since I’ve seen it. Here’s the “Red Band” trailer which means its a lot more intense than a conventional one. Watch your back now……

The Plot: A small group of military personnel and some survivalists dwell in an underground bunker as they seek to find a cure in a world overrun by zombies.

The Cast/Characters:
Sophie Skelton as Zoe Parker
Johnathon Schaech as Max
Jeff Gum as Miguel Salazar
Marcus Vanco as Baca Salazar
Mark Rhino Smith as Alphonse
Cristina Serafini as Elle
Lillian Blankenship as Lily
Bruce Campbell

Chūiwoharau! The Trailer For “Batman Ninja” Has Arrived

A few short months ago, I shared the trailer for the anime feature “Godzilla: Planet Of The Monsters” which you can see HERE in the event that you missed it. In the post I mentioned my aiming at sharing more items such as this based on the dominance of the Anime culture and its wonderful shows. That brings me to the recently revealed feature by some of Japan’s top creators with “Batman Ninja”. Check out the clip below along with the premise and the voice actors.

The Premise: Batman is transported to Feudal Japan and must battle reimagined versions of his villains alongside his allies. Aiding the Dark Knight are Japanese versions of Nightwing, Red Hood, Red Robin, Robin, Alfred Pennyworth, and Catwoman. Villains confirmed to appear include the Joker, Harley Quinn, Penguin, Poison Ivy, Two-Face, Deathstroke, and Gorilla Grodd. (thanks Wiki).

Voice Cast:
Batman – Kōichi Yamadera
Joker – Wataru Takagi
Harley Quinn – Rie Kugimiya
Catwoman – Ai Kakuma

PiercingMetal Thoughts: As I noted in the post about “Godzilla: Planet Of The Monsters”, I’ve been trying to be more on point with the Anime stuff because its getting bigger and bigger. Perhaps its always been big but I guess what I am saying is that more people who never paid much attention to it are realizing what they have been missing. My cousins think its comical that I’ve never seen an episode of “Attack On Titan” or any “Gundam Wing” stuff but I haven’t. As far as “Batman Ninja” is concerned, I have to say that this one looks really awesome and how interesting will it be to see Feudal Japan themed characters from the Batman franchise. The Joker and Harley Quinn look especially wild IMHO and with the lackluster views about the “Killing Joke” film from the Warner Animated folks, this one looks to be a significant upgrade. As I watched this it reminded me of the “Elseworlds” tales that I used to collect back in the day from DC Comics. This will hit the streets in 2018 during the early part of the year to my knowledge and let’s hope that the fine folks at Fathom Events put together some kind of “one-night only” screening so we can not only be in attendance but try to sort out a contest for our readers to see it for free on the big screen. What did you think of this one? Let me know down in the comments section below. Until next time.

It’s pretty amusing to learn that there are at least “20” more MCU films coming according to Kevin Feige who disclosed this information in a very recent interview because not even a day later comes the trailer that we have been long anticipating with “Avengers: Infinity War”. I’ve secured the clip along with premise and the massive casting for you below so get on with the checking it out. Don’t worry, I’ll return with some editorial opinion at the close.

A despot of intergalactic infamy, his goal is to collect all six Infinity Stones, artifacts of unimaginable power, and use them to inflict his twisted will on all of reality. PiercingMetal Thoughts: So there you have it my readers and without being super negative about the topic, THAT IS HOW YOU DO a massive superhero team film. Sure the recently opened “Justice League” film is calling the audience to attention with the catch phrase of “ALL IN” but I have to say that this trailer shows us what “All In” really looks like. I’m psyched and the summer cannot get here fast enough. In reviewing the trailer, I’d have to add that I don’t think we are going to see too many surprise new heroes introduced because there are more than thirty denoted above and unless this film is three hours long the screen time is going to be tight. Oh let’s admit it, this is probably a film that would work as a super extended one since its obviously loaded to the brim with action. It’s all been leading up to this one and what a ride its been so far. I anticipate this trailer shaking up the heads of state at Warner Brothers who no longer seem to be interested in a shared universe as per numerous disclosures in recent weeks. Time to wake up over there people but I digress. So let’s hear from you folks. What do you think about this trailer and how excited are you for the release in 2018 – Are you “All In”? (Sorry I couldn’t resist).
