Hey there my fiends, we are BACK for the ATTACK with the rest of our findings from the 2017 Toy Fair Press Preview that was held at the Mezco Toyz HQ yesterday morning. I hope you have made it out of the snowstorm with no difficulty if you are in our neck of the woods. Its now mostly ice since its cold so be careful out there. Now its onto the rest and I’ll begin where I left off which was with this horrifying Annabelle doll from the movie “The Conjuring”. Creepy stuff right? A few friends have already told me that they were having nightmares from my first photo of it so here is another to keep you suitably creeped out 🙂
Toy Fair 2017 was fast approaching and the appointments were beginning to be set up for the massive four-day convention at the Javits Center. One of our favorite companies to see during the Toy Fair is the fine folks at Mezco Toyz who always have worlds of awesome to examine and once again PiercingMetal would be invited to their warehouse to examine all of this years new offerings. This is our fourth coverage of their Press Preview and its always a pleasure to see the guys and their wares – unless the day looks like this outside. Yeah NYC was being assaulted by a blizzard so we braved the storm so you didn’t have to.
I’m going to start off with visuals of their absolutely incredible “One:12 Collective” line. I’m pretty sure that most of these characters are timeless in terms of their names so I will not be listing every single one of them.
Hello again my fellow Trekkies, I’m so glad that you have beamed over to the Javits Center with me for my continuing exploration into the “Star Trek: Mission New York” convention. The event took over the famed convention center this past weekend and I’m continuing on with the second batch of fifty visuals for your data banks. Like many of the conventions nowadays, there is an app for that and many have downloaded the Star Trek Mission New York one because they could connect to their respective social networks and each other for the sake of better interaction. Prep the landing party we are heading to surface.
With the “Star Trek” original series hitting its 50th Anniversary, we saw a lot of popular games with their own specialty edition to be purchased. For instance here is a Trivial Pursuit that is dedicated to the five year mission.
It was that time of the year again and that means Toy Fair and with that massive event comes the chance to peruse the offerings by Mezco Toyz in advance for the purposes of press. We love the stuff that Mezco delivers to the collector’s shelves for sure and with this years preview I decided to break it up into a couple of different parts. The Mezco “One:12 Collective” line staggers the imagination and we first saw their figures with the Dark Knight Returns line from last year. With 2016 Toy Fair approaching, Mezco has expanded into additional Marvel and DC Comics super-heroes along with several interesting science-fiction and horror licenses. I’ll leave this a primarily visual experience for you since I don’t think you need me to discuss who ever single figure is. Don’t worry I will chime in here and there.
Welcome back friends and here we are with yet another exciting look inside the 2015 NY Comic Con over at the Javits Center. As you can see by the title of the post, I’m up to the second chapter of the Day Two adventuring and as stated in the bunch of posts that preceded this one, will be offering up the next fifty images for your viewing pleasure. This posting is mostly the wonderful cosplayers and you should know the characters they are portraying by now. Here we go:
