Alright now we are cooking with gas into these second chapters from the exciting “Convergence” series. I am a few issues behind in my own reading of course but that is based on my having been running around like a madman over the last couple of weeks. As a matter of fact, as you read this I am on the fourth day of a seven in a row shows to attend for the music review side of the website. Am I exhausted yet? Oh no, not at all (loosely translated into “oh hell yes I am”) but lets get right on down to the sixth installment of the series.

Convergence #5: Free of the reign of Telos, a pantheon of heroes unite at last in an effort to defend their collective cities – but they did not count on the threat of Deimos, who suddenly seems to possess the power to tear the Multiverse apart at the seams!

Welcome back and we are here showcasing the coolness that DC Comics is issuing during their “Convergence” storyline. This is week number two of the initiative and since there are a lot of titles I’m going to leave you to the press copy and covers so you absorb it even better with limited sidebar from me. I will touch base at the close for good measure just the same. All of the titles below will be released on April 15th.

Convergence #2
Convergence #2

Convergence #2: As Telos, the Planet Incarnate, easily defeats the survivors of Earth 2, Thomas Wayne and Dick Grayson set off to find help in the pre-Flashpoint Gotham City. The emotional implication of these worlds colliding comes crashing down when Thomas Wayne confronts this world’s Batman, as father meets son! Plus, Alan Scott’s attempts to connect with The Green yield unexpected results, setting our team on a quest to escape the planet. And the cyborgs of Futures End engage in a battle to the death against the reimagined heroes of the Just Imagine Universe, while the city of Superman Red and Blue takes on the opposing forces from GENERATIONS!
