For many years, “The Incredible Hulk” was one of my very favorite Marvel Comics titles to read and this might have been helped by the Lou Ferrigno television show but I digress. This February Marvel celebrates the Jade Giant with a series of variant covers. I’ve shared the ones that were released to press for you below along with the brief statement about them. Check it out.
The Press Release:
He’s back. He’s mad as hell. And you’ve never seen a Hulk this angry before. This February, Marvel will help appease the green goliath’s anger by introducing the HULK VARIANT COVER PROGRAM. Showcasing key moments in the Hulk’s past life, these covers will feature art by some of the industry’s top creators and rising stars, including Mike McKone, Marco Checchetto, Stephanie Hans, Dale Keown, Ron Lim, and more. Look for Marvel’s Hulk variant covers on these select titles:
The news about these awesome “Avengers” variants first hit back in October, but since they only shared “5” cover images in that release and I had other comic items to put on your radar, I waited until today to do this one. Now we have “15” of the “21” total covers so I hope you enjoy them all.
The Press Release:

Clearly when it comes to comics you can always return and that is a pretty exciting prospect when it comes to Jean Grey, the original Phoenix who is getting her return in the upcoming specials in the coming months. Now its time to share some variant covers to some of the currently running titles that celebrate this amazing return. I’ll close out as always down below. Check it out.

PiercingMetal Thoughts: Despite my hesitation to snag a whole bunch of the variant covers, I’d like to see how the rest of these get presented. I’ve always loved the near omnipotent force that was The Phoenix and it’s great to find the original character returning to the Marvel Universe. The timing is perfect for the character since she is going to be the main premise of an upcoming X-Men film which is appropriately titled “X-Men: Dark Phoenix”. Now they’ve only shared a small batch of the covers which is why the post only has that many visuals. I will try to secure some more as time goes forward. What do you readers think of these? Are they on your interest list? Let me know down in the comments section below. Until next time.,
During the SDCC the fine folks at Hasbro Toys revealed that a brand new awesome set of Marvel Legends series was coming our way and this group will bring back memories to collectors of a certain age since its an homage to the original series and packaging that surrounded some truly mighty action figures. I don’t think that I need to mention who they are since the images are clearly marked. Let’s take a look at Wave One of the Vintage Series.
It’s time to get excited about the superhero film stuff once again because Phase 3 of Marvel’s Cinematic Universe begins here with the opening of “Captain America: Civil War”. After the massive amount of mixed opinion that DC’s Extended Universe found with “Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice” I can honestly say that I am so looking forward to this live-action adventure. Check out the official poster and the premise along with the main cast and then I will return with some thoughts.
One year after the events of “Avengers: Age of Ultron”, another international incident involving the Avengers resulting in collateral damage occurs, prompting politicians to form a system of accountability and a governing body to determine when to call in the team. When Steve Rogers attempts to protect his friend Bucky Barnes from this act, he is brought into conflict with Tony Stark. This results in the fracturing of the Avengers into two opposing factions—one led by Rogers, who wishes to operate without regulation, and the other by Stark, who supports government oversight—while the world is threatened by a new enemy.
