Since I’ve been showcasing some of the details and visuals from “The Tick” I might as well put out a reminder that this show is now available for streaming on the Amazon Prime service. That means you can ONLY watch this if you are an Amazon Prime member or share the access with someone in your family who has signed up for it and added the means to do so on your main entertainment devices. The Premise: The Tick is a nigh-invulnerable superhero in a blue tick costume who arrives in The City to help combat crime, and uncover the mysterious figure behind the city’s underworld. He befriends (or may have been imagined into existence by) a nervous and mild-mannered young man called Arthur who becomes his sidekick: They come to realize that an apparently long-dead supervillian called “The Terror” may still be pulling the strings in the city’s underworld. Last week (or so) I shared the Official Trailer from the upcoming series “The Tick” which is an Amazon Original series that will be available to those folks who are members of the Amazon Prime stuff. Since I don’t subscribe to Amazon Video I wasn’t 100% up on this one, and it looks like I’ll have to get my Prime account in order so I can enjoy the return of Ben Edlund’s “The Tick” to the live action small screen. Check out the official trailer below.
