Since we are on the topic of the upcoming “Justice League” movie, let’s slide back into the comic book realm for this exciting stuff. I’ll let the press release educate you about this batch of variant covers that will help celebrate the film in advance of its opening. Dig in.

As the world awaits the big screen debut of “Justice League,” DC is getting in on the action with a special collection of variant covers inspired by the forthcoming film! Illustrated by the some of the comic industry’s most acclaimed artists, these variant covers showcase DC’s iconic Super Hero team in the likeness of their big screen counterparts. Fans are getting their first look today at variant covers available on the November editions of flagship DC titles featuring members of the famed Justice League.
Wow. Can you believe we are in March already? This 2016 year is playing no games in terms of the speed that its passing us by and while I often refer to the month as “March Metal Madness” for the heavy music stuff I guess I am going to start citing this as “March Media Madness” for the films and comic book postings like this one. That being said, let’s get to examining the offerings from DC Comics. Historically speaking about these posts, I’ve locked into only presenting those first issues coming out but with this month we have to pay some attention to the fact that the remaining titles that fell under “The New 52” labelling are reaching their 50th issue this month. We’ve finally arrived at Week Four of the DC Comics month long initiative known as “VILLAINS Week” and for those who might just be joining us, this is a series of one-shot issues that spotlight some of the most nefarious denizens in the DC Universe. To see the past posts about the topic just click HERE to be brought up to speed. Now let’s get down to business with these issues that hit the racks on September 25th. The premise and art come from the proper publicity channels but my closing editorial is all me. Here we go.

As I’ve reported over the past two weeks, the September DC Comics initiative is known as VILLAINS MONTH and if you’ve not been paying attention, you’ll want to see what’s come out already by clicking on THIS LINK. In a nutshell, there are numerous One-Shots being released this month in place of the regularly running titles and each of them feature the most sinister villains that the DC Universe has.
