Apocalyptica returns to the headlining stage with their “Shadowmaker” Tour. They’ll be supported by 10 Years.
Apocalyptica brings their “Shadowmaker” tour to Sayreville and will have support from 10 Years and Failure Anthem. Time to get classical.
When we last got a visit from the guys in Apocalyptica here in the good old USA, they were actually opening up for Sixx A.M. which is the band that features Nikki Sixx. This support spot surprised a lot of fans because we had been so used to them headlining with each and every visit. Those of us who saw the band during that tour also got to see the groups new singer Frankie Perez and while it was a great live experience as always, the support slot was far too short. Now it’s time for the band to take the headlining stage once more as they continue to support their “Shadowmaker” album and if you scroll below the poster you will get the full press release and tour dates. I’ll be back afterwards with some additional thoughts. Check it out.

10 Years is back in NYC and brings along Islander as support. This should be an interesting show.
The Details: I’ve only caught the band 10 Years on a couple of occasions over the last few music reporting years and while never really following them per se, have greatly enjoyed their tasty brand of Alternative Metal (which is what a number of us journalistic types are labeling them as). They do things a little differently from the rest and that is what makes them interesting in the massive grouping of other bands upon the scene. That’s why I am happy to announce this contest to see their show at the beautiful Highline Ballroom in NYC. The band will be joined by Monster Truck and Highly Suspect on this show so it’s a good chance to absorb even more new musical coolness. Read on further below to see how you can participate in this one.
