Opening: “The Lego Batman Movie” @ Theaters Everywhere (2/10/2017)

I’m sure by now that you have seen one of the numerous trailers or commercials for this film and if you have just come out from under the rock you were living in seclusion, please check out THIS LINK first to see the 4th Trailer that I shared with readers back in November then we can continue. Welcome back, so yeah here we are on the opening day of the action-packed, hold onto your seat animated feature “The Lego Batman Movie”. Check out the poster below and remind yourself of the premise and the cast.

The Premise:

The Cast:

Rosario Dawson as Barbara Gordon/Batgirl
Ralph Fiennes as Alfred Pennyworth

PiercingMetal Thoughts: Every time I see one of the commercials for this movie I find myself laughing and smiling a little wider. This sure seems like just the thing to take you away from the hectic and somewhat scary times we are now finding ourselves in. This week I caught a commercial during The CW superhero shows and one during “The Big Bang Theory” that were hilarious. So who is interested in joining me for this one? I don’t think I am getting to the theater on the release day of course but I will be seeing this soon so take the day off from work or play hooky from school (which is actually pronounced as “DO NOT play hooky from school) and head over to your local cinema and see it with me. We don’t actually have to be together of course and can just coordinate the times via all those social networks for some fun. So all kidding aside this does look like fun and I’ve already lined out some appreciation for all of the animated features like “Justice League: Doom” since they are so well done. Are you going to see this one or are you waiting on the home video or streaming release? Let me know in the comments section below.
