Judas Priest & Whitesnake in Concert (7/2009)

Judas Priest was back in action and touring for the 30th Anniversary of “British Steel”. I could hardly believe that the album was reaching such a milestone. The tour would bring along Whitesnake who last delivered “Good To Be Bad” to their fans and with such a great pairing we knew we had to be in place to report on it. The first band up was Pop Evil but the fates were not on our side to catch them, but a full commentary and plenty of photos of Judas Priest and Whitesnake are ready to be enjoyed. Metal Fans that have interest in seeing the Judas Priest “Metal Masters” article from last year can click HERE to do so and those Whitesnake fans that wish to enjoy our images and words from a media only CD listening can click HERE. 1. I caught the very same set at Jones Beach and thought it was awesome. Whitesnake were definitely tight, and Priest were beyond amazing. Hearing British Steel in its entirety is something I knew I had to hear (though I’d love a tour where they play Screaming for Vengeance as a whole too!). Great review!

  2. I love your stuff!!! I wish that I was there for this show.. I saw Priest last year with Testament & Halford always goes above and beyond to give a hell of a show!!

  3. The sound was great Sunday at Jones Beach, especially the guitars- loud and clear. and Rob Halford seemed to hit ALL the notes-The band is in fantastic playing form! They played mostly old favorites, as a band with a catalog likes their should. A really enjoyable 80’s metal show! Victim Of Changes was one of THE best live experiences I’ve ever had
