PiercingMetal Thoughts: I have to admit that this one is a curiosity for me and feels like a weird grouping of not really the same type of stuff acts. Of course I haven’t heard the newest In Flames at all and the last time I gave Hellyeah a go around was at the Rockstar Mayhem Festival that they did back in 2015 unless I am off by a year. So much great music to keep tabs on nowadays but it’s interesting to see that the whole roster of performers comes from the Eleven Seven Music label. I’ve long been a fan of In Flames but more for their most classic and influential years. Nowadays it’s a song here or there for me as I am interested in a whole different set of bands. They are still an exciting live band on the stage so this is going to be a good one for sure when it hits your town. What do you readers think about this tour? Will you go or are you staying away? 1. Poor In Flames….
I mean, they’ve been slowly getting more mainstream, even radio-rock with their recent albums. But good lord, they couldn’t get a better support package than this?? Hellyeah is about the only band on the planet that can make Five Finger Death Punch look tolerable.
