Title: “Ignite” (Single)
Label: SharpTone Records
Release Date: 9/23/2016
While I’ve already mentioned my being a little behind the times with the band Attila, I’ve been trying to correct that by starting off my adventure into their sounds by scoping out the advance singles that I had been sent. The first was “Public Apology” which I felt was a little bit too profane for my liking but I guess that is what is considered normal nowadays in the minds of the young listeners. The newest track to hit my mailbox comes with “Ignite” and while there are some profanities from singer Chris Fronzak, I had to say that I loved this one.
The Fronz starts with a rallying cry to his audience and then the song takes off with some powerful breakdowns that found me moving my head in time with the tune. It was nice and heavy and the guys can play so don’t doubt the skills for a moment. When it gets to the chorus there is a loud group participation response that makes this a bigger tune overall and I loved the lead guitar break from Chris Linck that will impress those who follow his playing. I’m definitely going to check out the full album “Chaos” when it comes out on SharpTone Records in early November. Perhaps I can even add the band to my list of “seen live” groups. Only time will tell but this is a solid track for sure.
