I’ve been enjoying watching the steady climb to the stratosphere that the Black Veil Brides have been on for the last couple of years. While I was initially a latecomer to their debut when it first came out on StandBy Records, I became a quick and supportive study as they began making more regular appearances in my neck of the woods. I’ve since seen them in concert three times and have enjoyed every gig so that made it exciting to be one of the members of attending press at the advance listen to their latest release “Wretched And Divine” which would be held at the offices of Universal Music in Manhattan. You can read more about the experience by clicking the bands logo below, but then come back here for some side opinion and thoughts.
When you walked into the listening room you would find some LCD screens and posters around and a few couches. I took a place dead center in the back as we were instructed and prepared my head for the awesome newness that the Black Veil Brides would deliver.
Here’s the latest band photo of the Black Veil Brides. As you might notice very quickly, there is even less makeup and tatters than before. The band is ever-evolving in their style and changing from year to year much like their inspirations in KISS and Motley Crue once did.
This is the cover to their latest album “Wretched And Divine: The Story Of The Wild Ones”.
After the album was played the assembled lucky fans discovered that their surprise treat would be a visit from singer Andy Biersack. The next few photos are of him.
The band’s manager Rob “Blasko” Nicholson listens in on the fans and Andy
Some cool fans show off the album cover cards that they were given. You can bet solid money that they were getting these things signed today by Andy Biersack. Hey I would have done the same exact thing since its so cool to have.
So there you have it. A bunch of visuals from this very exclusive listening event and as I said there are more photos and a deeper level of insight on the main website that can be read by clicking the bands logo at the top of this posting. The Black Veil Brides will be on tour in the beginning of 2013 and the new release will be available then as well so don’t miss either opportunity. My plan is to hit at least one of the shows and to offer up a comprehensive review of the new release as soon as my schedule of stuff to do allows me the chance.
