The upcoming “Bound By The Road” tour follows the band’s most recent public performance at Ozzfest Meets Knotfest, where they shot their newest music video for their latest album’s title track “Trust No One”. Take a look at the music video below:

DEVILDRIVER released their long-awaited seventh studio album, Trust No One, in May 2016 via Napalm Records. The album is available for purchase now digitally via iTunes and Amazon or in other formats via the Napalm Records Web Store and DevilDriver.com

This ballsy, brash and brutal burnt offering ignites the group’s fiercest ten salvos to date. Straight out of the gate, key tastemakers embraced the record with KERRANG! calling it, “A snorting, snarling heavy metal beast,” and Metal Hammer going as far as to say, “Trust No One is a monstrous comeback that cackles with renewed verve, ideas and energy that’s the equal of the band’s finest achievements.” Trust No One entered the Billboard Top 200 chart at #43. The album followed 2013’s Winter Kills, which bowed at #32. To date, DEVILDRIVER has developed one of the most rabid fan bases in heavy metal, which has packed festivals and venues everywhere to witness their gospel of intensity.

DEVILDRIVER is: Dez Fafara – Vocals, Mike Spreitzer – Guitar, Neal Tiemann – Guitar, Diego Ibarra – Bass and Austin D’Amond – Drums

PiercingMetal Thoughts: Like Dez has already said, this one sounds like a monster of a tour and while I am not 100% up on their last couple of albums, I have seen Devildriver quite a few times since beginning my journalistic adventures and can tell you for sure that they bring the top game to the live stage. I’m also a big fan of Death Angel and The Agonist so its cool to find them on the tour and reaching more and more fans for their output as its worthy of being paid attention to. Now sadly I have yet to see Winds of Plague or this band called Azrael in concert but if the TBA part of this run of dates includes a NYC show then you can be rest assured that I will try to be in place for the whole bunch of them. So what do you readers think of this return to the headlining stage by Devildriver and the whole touring package as well? Let me know in the comments section below. See you next time and by that I mean really soon since I have another tour to post about 🙂
