PiercingMetal Thoughts: I’ve never, ever seen Gilmour in concert before as a solo artist but was lucky enough to have caught him once with Pink Floyd during that tour that I believe might have been the last one they did. Its been a long, long, LONG time since that show so I don’t 100% recall if it was the last or not. I’m saddened that we will not see any collaborations as Pink Floyd but let’s reflect on how awesome it is to find Gilmour still touring at his age. The musician is closing in on 70 years of age and I am sure that he wants to sit back and rest upon his many laurels at this point. The North American dates are limited with a few being in Canada while the rest are in the USA so you better get on the phone fast and reserve your space in one of these venues. I think those of us in the NY/NJ/CT region are the luckiest since we get three dates on this run so don’t risk missing this one. I’m hoping to be on point at one of them if its possible to do so. What do you readers think of this tour? Is it something that you would be checking out? I think its a great way to spend that tax refund provided you already got your paperwork in by the time its happening and actually got something back. Let me know what you think in the comments section.
