Cannibal Corpse Reveal Fall Tour w/Cattle Decapitation For 2015

There are few bands that crush your Metal senses to a quivering pulp as hard as Cannibal Corpse and when I learned about this month long tour in the Fall, I had to make sure that all the legions in the regions it’s visiting knew about it. Below you can enjoy the official tour poster and the official press release. I’ll return at the end with some additional thoughts. Get moving.

Tour - Cannibal Corpse - Fall 2015

The Press Release:
CANNIBAL CORPSE has spent the summer of 2015 conquering Europe, with included stops at Hellfest, Wacken, Bloodstock, Brutal Assault, Party.San, Copenhell, Graspop, and numerous club shows. But they aren’t even close to being finished with 2015. The band today reveals their plans for a massive US tour this Fall, bringing a brutal package of acts with them across the United States beginning October 8th, and running through November 7th. Direct support is slated to come from Metal Blade label mates, Cattle Decapitation, preceded by Sweden’s Soreption, plus a local opener on each show. Tickets go on sale Friday, August 14th. VIP upgrades will be announced soon. Check the bands official website (linked below) for details as they are made available.

Comments CANNIBAL CORPSE bassist Alex Webster: “We’re very excited to be hitting the road this Fall with Cattle Decapitation and Soreption, two killer bands that we know our fans will love. Get ready for a night of complete brutality!”

Cattle Decapitation vocalist Travis Ryan expresses the band’s excitement for the upcoming shows: “We’ve wanted to tour with CANNIBAL CORPSE ever since we started touring and we’re glad that’s finally going to be a reality! Looking forward to making memories with these guys and Soreption!”

CANNIBAL CORPSE w/ Cattle Decapitation, Soreption:

A Skeletal Domain, the latest full-length from American death metal icons, CANNIBAL CORPSE and thirteenth full-length overall, debuted at an astounding #32 on Billboard’s Top 200 chart, making it the highest charting record in the band’s storied history! Produced by Mark Lewis (The Black Dahlia Murder, DevilDriver) at Audio Hammer Studios in Florida, the record boasts twelve ravenous tracks of confrontational, meticulously-executed ill-omened brutality as only CANNIBAL CORPSE can deliver.

Cattle Decapitation’s The Anthropocene Extinction was just released this past Friday, August 7th, and has amassed the praise from press and fans globally. Decibel Magazine commends, “abundant hooks, extremity meeting musicality, a diverse vocal performance, an almost surprisingly bittersweet tone, and hairpin temp shifts,” adding, “there’s always been a fine line between extremity and listenability and CATTLE DECAPITATION have marvelously tiptoed that line again… their command of craft has never been better.”

Swedish technical death metal unit, Soreption, released their Engineering The Void full-length last year via Unique Leader Records.A scrupulously-executed display of methodical genius, Engineering The Void spouts a wholly sophisticated barrage of Meshuggian riff sequences, obscure time signatures, head-jarring rhythms, and intervals of orchestral enormity all backed by the calloused growls of lead throat Fredrik Söderberg. The band’s latest North American jaunt follows their run earlier this year supporting Cryptopsy and Disgorge

PiercingMetal Thoughts: So far I’ve not really offered up one of these “upcoming tours” posts on the website when there was not a “right here in NYC” date for us to attend and lay down some Metal Media opinion for the masses but when the unrelenting force is something like the great Cannibal Corpse you tend to make a few exceptions. I’ve always been more of the casual fan to their brand of devastation and only saw them once in concert when they toured with Behemoth but still I recognize the impact that they have had on the Death Metal genre. Fans that get out to any of these shows are going to be drained from all the expended energy that’s for sure. So what do you readers think about this particular run of dates? The closest show for us Big Apple Metal heads is either in Long Island or up in Poughkeepsie so its some traveling to say the least. I am always interested in hearing what you have to say about the tours we document that are coming. Follow along with the tour via the bands official websites which are linked below.
